Our Confidentiality Policy
We take the confidentiality of your personal information very serious,
especially when you use the Internet to contact us. For this reason we make
every effort, not only to provide you with comprehensive on-line services, but
also to uphold your rights to privacy and to control the use of your personal
information. The pertinent laws that protect your rights include the German
Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz, BDSG), the Telecommunications
Services Data Protection Act (Teledienstedatenschutzgesetz, TDDSG) and the Law on
the Use of Telecommunications Services (Teledienstegesetz, TDG).
In most cases it is up to you to decide whether you want to supply personal information,
such as your name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number. Please note that
we sometimes need such information, in order to process your sales inquiries, for example.
Any personal information that you provide to us will be used only for the purpose of
answering your request. We will not sell, lend or otherwise pass on your personal
information to any third party outside the aquata Euras Ltd. You can request a
report of all the personal information we have stored concerning you at any time.
If you request so, we will delete all your personal information from our files.
We work with networks which are protected by firewalls. A certain type of encryption is
not used. Some of our webpages utilize ''cookies'' and other tracking technologies.
A ''cookie'' is a small text file that may be used, for example, to collect information
about your internet site activity. Some cookies might as well and other tracking
technologies may serve to recall personal information previously typed indicated by a Web user.
Most browsers allow you to manage cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how
to remove them.
All user access to each page of our web site is registered with appropriate data in a log
file. We use this information for statistical purposes only. This access data is not linked
to any personal information that the user may have provided. The log records on web site
requests contain the following information:
- the name of the requested file
- date and time of the request
- data transfer volume
- success of the data transfer
- name of the requesting domain
- description of the browser type used
- operating system used
- requesting IP address
If you do not agree to having this statistical data recorded,
stored and/or evaluated even though your anonymity is assured, you have the right
to lodge an objection. This does not affect your right to use the web site.
We reserve the right to amend this Confidentiality Policy in accordance with the
relevant data protection laws.
